My Story
Dr. Jeff Odnert is a licensed doctor of Chinese Medicine in the state of California. (National
License Pending). He trained at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA where he
received a combined Master’s and Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.
Additionally, he trained as a massage therapist and Reiki Level II practitioner.
He currently serves as an Adjunct Instructor for Pacific College where he teaches Tai Chi /
Qigong courses as well as pathology courses for graduating massage therapists.
Dr. Jeff practices acupuncture and herbology with a strong foundation in Traditional and
Classical Chinese Medicine. While interning at Pacific College, he managed a wide variety of
cases ranging from mental health concerns, menstrual issues and gastrointestinal complaints to
chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and sciatica. Dr. Jeff also saw pediatric and adolescent patients at
Rady Children’s Hospital and assisted underserved populations at UCSD Downtown and Pacific
Beach Free Clinics.
Dr. Jeff is honored to join the Sanctuary, bringing in the best practices and combined knowledge
of Eastern and Western preventive care. In the future, he plans to deepen his scope of practice
and knowledge in several systems and styles ranging from Japanese acupuncture and Tung
acupuncture to Sports Medicine and orthopedic techniques. His long-term goals include
contributing to the field of andrology and becoming a licensed teacher of Tai Chi and Qi Gong.
